Paragraph 1: "The boy's name was Andy and the name was delicately scripted in black thread on the front of the jacket, just over the heart. Andy."

It is apparent that he is proud of the fact as the words delicately scripted demonstrate that he has taken time and care to sew his name on the jacket. Also, the fact that his name is sewn just over his heart shows his loyalty for the gang.
