Introduction and synopsis of the research
Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is a voluntary non-governmental organization located in the central Ohio that focuses on delivering quality guidelines to transportation, energy, sustainable development, housing and environmental conservation. Their operations span through both the rural communities, suburban and the urban centers. Furthermore, the activities of the organizations are within fifteen counties which allow them to reach more customers in the society. In the study, we will analyze the fundamental functioning of this agency and its core undertakings in enhancing community development. Also, we will evaluate the impacts of the organization to the public sector. We will be able to know the main drivers that have helped the agency to expand most of its operations to reach many regions.

...eas. Over the years, the organization has facilitated most expansion programs that have helped them to reach many cities, villages, and towns(Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission 1998). The primary goal of the organization is to enhance sustainable development and improve the living conditions of many people. The measures and projects that have yielded success in the organization have also facilitated Ohio to be more competitive in the global market.
Unlike the Central Ohio Transit Authority which offers transport facilities within the regions within Ohio, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Agency is highly concerned in making its services reach a global scale. They consider diversity to be one of the key drivers of economic development. Policy makers are on the frontline in planning appropriate measures that will help the organization to achieve most of their key objectives. Also, the organization is transforming the lives of individual
around Ohio by equal distribution of resources as well as providing job opportunities to many people around the region. The community of Ohio has been transformed through constant efforts to change the demographic structure of the environment and facilitate economic advancements. The developments that have been enhanced in the community is much the same as that of the country.
In addition to the diversity statement of the agency, they have allowed transacting with a lot of new vendors in most of their operations which have facilitated the invention and use of new products. The new providers have been given an opportunity to build a relationship that will aid in quality services and genuine business transactions. The products which the agency purchases is now readily available through a chain of reliable vendors. The new vendors after prior evaluation are given certificates that allow them to transact without restrictions.
The Central Ohio Transit Authority
The Central Ohio Transit Authority is the leading transport provider within the region having achieved a larger span of operations over the years. The state-run organization is highly concerned with quality service delivery with most of their operations run by competent professionals in different sectors. With the support of the government and the community, the organization has been able to increase most of their services within the region with the addition of more transport facilities.
In this study, we will evaluate the improvements that the organization has enhanced within the area and the possible issues that need to be addressed to improve sustainability. We will also determine the level of operations of the organization and determine if they have been able to maintain proper business ethics in
demonstrating their leadership potentials.
The Central Ohio Transit Authority board of trustees comprises of professionally competent individuals with high reputation and is highly committed to the objectives of the organization. They are responsible for overseeing the operations of the organization and ensuring that all challenges are addressed with immediate concerns. The board members have a duty of care to make sure that all the responsibilities subjected to them have been performed with high level of integrity. Also, they have to have a sense of good faith and respond to some situations with appropriate judgments and portray loyalty in their rule. All these obligations are mandatory for the advancement of the organization in undertaking its core roles and objectives.
In addition to the board of trustees, there is the management advisory board that oversees the operations of the organization and helps in formulating critical decisions that yields appropriate transport solution for the business. The members of the committee are selected from all regions of business operations within Ohio and ensure that proper implementations and improvements have been made in their areas.
The company has recently announced the need for customers to renew their tax levies. This step is a significant achievement that will allow the company to expand its operations without necessarily increasing their tax base. With the company expansion, it will be easy for the company to undertake a broad scope of work that will increase the profits of the organization. In the recent past, the company has facilitated convenience in most of their operations. The service delivery grew by the growth in some working hours as well as ensuring that they provide quality services. The services on
other routes have been introduced to make their transportation services more accessible and reliable. This expansion has attracted more customers to seek the services of the organization. A positive result has been realized in the financial status of the organization.
Interrelationships among the two organizations
The rapid expansion of the services provided by both of the organizations has facilitated rapid growth and sustainable development in the community. The primary focus of COTA is to enhance sustainable development in the society, create new job opportunities, promote employment training facilities and make access to essential services such as medical care to be easy. The organization has made it possible to connect the physically challenged members of the society to move from one place to another efficiently (Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission 2002). On the other hand, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning ensures that appropriate policies have been implemented, and the transport sector is effectively running its activities. All this functions and responsibilities have made both organizations to achieve their goals of acquiring the high reputation. The services being provided by both of the organizations through their constant collaboration has allowed easier achievement of their targets.
Conclusion
The two sectors are mainly concerned with enhancing sustainable development within the various communities. They direct most of their development projects to the community and later on promote development to other sectors. This approach has facilitated the improvement of the community around the organizations and innovation as well as technology has been able to reach the community quickly. Morph and the Central Ohio Transit Authority are both interdependent in promoting sustainable development. For the transport industry to undertake its operations in the most efficient manner there should be
appropriate policies that will guide them. These policies are usually formulated by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. There are a constant relationship and link that the government should make to conduct its operations effectively.
