Although I generally don't watch much traditional television, I primarily use Nettling or Grabbed for my viewing pleasure. The absence of commercials in these platforms ensures that I am not exposed to marketing strategies. Nevertheless, when I do happen to watch traditional television, Taco Bell stands out as a company that excels in their marketing efforts. They are the only company that comes to mind, indicating that others fail to meet my expectations.
I can comprehend why Taco Bell is the only brand I can recall. When considering it, I realize that Taco Bell is addressing one of my fundamental needs. These needs include air, food, water, clothing, and shelter (Kettle, 2012). So, which need is Taco Bell focusing on? They are targeting my basic need for food. Since we all require sustenance, it is logical for marketers to base their marketing efforts on fulfill
...ing this need. Marketing does not generate my need; rather, it caters to preexisting needs (Kettle, 2012).
Taco Bell attracts customers with their tasty ingredients and creative combinations. They offer tortillas, beards (sic), meat, cheese, rice, and occasionally lettuce on their menu. Nonetheless, Taco Bell stands out from traditional taco and burrito places by providing a variety of choices to suit different preferences. They also incorporate popular items like Doritos into their main dishes. This recent marketing campaign demonstrates Taco Bell's recognition that people of all ages enjoy Doritos and have included it on their menu. By skillfully mixing ingredients together, Taco Bell guarantees customer contentment.
After delving deeper into Taco Bell's marketing strategies, it becomes clear that the company does not solely depend on television advertising t
attract potential customers. Instead, Taco Bell incorporates its marketing endeavors across multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These platforms serve as valuable tools for promoting products, organizing contests, and conducting customer research. By effectively catering to their target market's primary need for satisfying hunger in order to engage prospective customers, Taco Bell showcases a profound understanding of their audience.
Taco Bell's commitment to producing healthy products and conducting thorough research and marketing efforts have convinced me to become a customer. Their deep understanding of their company identity, target market, and effective communication with customers is what makes them stand out in the field of marketing (Swanson, 2013).
