Japan was a very interesting country to study about. From 30,000 to 10,000 B.C. the settlement of Japan began. Then, in 405, Japan made Chinese it’s official written language. Buddhism and Confucianism entered from Korea in 538 and in 645, the emperor of Japan introduced a legal system and taxes. The first military leader was Minamoto yorito. His term started in 1192. Japan has never been controlled by anyone besides Japan itself so far. Japan is known for it’s beauty in the parts where there is some. It also has great landscape. There are mountains, islands, forests, beaches, terraces, and rice patties all in Japan. Some natural resources are timber, coal, copper, zinc, silver, tin and more. The climate of Japan varies, depending on what part of the country you’re in. If you’re in the north, the climate is cold and snowy in the winter, and foggy damp, and cool in the summer. If you’re in the south in the winter, it’s basically warm and humid all year long. The ranges in weather altogether are: SUMMER- 70 degrees F to 81 degrees F. WINTER- 16 degrees F to 39 degrees F.
