At my previous squadron, my supervisor and I had an active conflict. The conflict resonated from my supervisor’s opinion on the number of days I was to work, and her character which I deemed as unprofessional. As an air force reservist I can work in different duty statuses, such as; Air Reserve Technician (ART), Traditional Reservist (TR), or full-time reservist on over 30 days order. My supervisor being an ART enjoys the status of being an ART during the weekdays, and assumes the role of TR during the weekends, resulting in her working for 12 days in a row. The conflict started when my supervisor was of the opinion that I was to work for 12 days in a row, an opinion I objected because as a reservist on a 30-day order I do not enjoy the benefit of a dual income, therefore I should

The primary disputants in this conflict were; I, the supervisor, and members of the squadron whom she engaged with, the parties mentioned are regarded as disputants because they are actively involved in this conflict. The incompatible goals that I and my supervisor share are whether or not I should work for 12 days in a row without a dual income.
