The Teleological Argument also known as the Design argument is used to show proof of existence of God by observing the purposive of nature. This argument concludes that there must be a designer. The teleological arguments for existence of God, is that it is reflected in the intelligent purpose of the world from natural experiences such as unity, coherency, order, complexity and design and thus there must be an intelligent designer behind the observable order and intelligent purpose. This argument has however, attracted criticism from David Hume, who urges that the world does not exhibit any order, there is no prove of an infinite creator, there is no existence of one God and the failure of the analogy to another universe to make comparison (Pojman and Vaughn, 2009).

...ith Hume on the issue of an orderly universe. The universe is full of disorder ranging from galaxy collision, nova and supernova, volcanoes, earthquakes, radiations, diseases and so many other things. If God really did exist will He allow such things to happen? Secondly, our past experience is a basis upon which our knowledge is based upon. We have never seen another universe to determine its order. Order is a result of design, we can compare other things to describe whether they are orderly or not, but with the universe it is not possible. Thirdly, design reflects intelligence. The complexity of something reflects an amount of quantifiable resources such as number of personnel involved. The case of universe, it talks of a single God. An artifact is created within our knowledge but with the universe, we know nothing
about it. Finally, it is impossible to compare the universe to draw conclusions because it design is complex.
