Why and How Slave Trade was held as an Economic and Social Institution
American nations had grown vastly in technol
...ogy among other aspects and they resulted in having high level of knowledge on how best they could build their economy. In their view, they resulted in taking advantage of other nations thus subjecting their population to slavery.
Throughout the third world war, America resulted in holding slavery thus giving it a major priority since it played a significant role towards their economic growth. Through having a large number of slaves who could work on the firms among other sectors, it resulted in being easy for the fighters to never lack the basic necessities. In moving towards preventing any decline in productivity of economy due to prevalence of war, the nation thought it wise to result in using slavery as an economic and social institution. Through pooling people from similar origins together, in a working set up, they woul
result working jointly towards increasing the productivity and depression could not affect the psychologically causing any ill health. Through establishment of strong recruitment centers in the host countries, they would ensure continuous flow of slaves into the country.
The slave labor provision was free to the ruling countries making them enjoy high margins of profitability. Free labor is an aspect that is not usual as it is the key determinant of the nation’s ability to make continuous productivity. America therefore enjoyed significantly in having most of its agricultural lands accruing dominance of free labor and at high quality. In working towards high productivity, the site managers mainly resulted in inducing fear to the slaves making them to work extra hard. The slave labor was mobile as it dependent on the colonists who dictated the appropriate places they were to transfer their workers.
The laborers had no say and could not specialize on particular operational sites. It is an issue making productivity ever remain high despite the country’s status of war. Some of the laborers could still end getting sent to the wars while others provide work on the firms. These people had low resistance to work and resulted in working according to the dictated laws among other policies. It was an issue playing paramount role in increasing the nation’s ability to never experience any economic recession. The ability of holding captives to provide free labor made the circulation of money to the economy decline.
It was a great step contributing towards reduction of money supply in the economy. It helped significantly towards preventing instances of inflation affecting the society. America therefore took the advantage of free labor provision
by the slaves ending up developing its economy and making it free from future failure. The produce products by the slavery captives resulted in being exported and sold in their nations resulting in double benefits.
The proceeds from cultivation ended in supporting the fighters and growing the economy to grow tremendously.
Why the US Abolished Slavery Violently
As we all know that it is not easy to leave any opportunity with high returns, the American nation finds it hard to stop slavery due to the high yield it creates. It is out of this reason it has resulted in using expertise to still colonize third nations indirectly. Unlike the other countries that held slaves did in leaving their slaves freely, the US could not afford to conduct such an exercise.
The slaves held greater percentage of the in the production of the countries food. Leaving the slaves go meant the state would result in experiencing a crisis in its labor supply. It is an issue that would result in the nation experiencing great crisis that could cause the economy to retard significantly. Upon realization that the country was not ready to take such a move, the affected nations had to use violent ways. They had to use power and fight that resulted in shedding of blood as one way of giving freedom.
Americans were not ready to see their free workers go and this gave a negative reflection on the nation’s economy. The slaves had to engage in a serious exercise of fighting with the colonists and fight for their rights they had been resulted in experiencing victimization. The US government could see a serious decline in its
superiority in the worlds market. The reason fueled significantly the suitability and attainment of the state to better performance. In working towards remaining the top performance and influencer in the world’s decision-making process, the only way was to have a strong economy that other nations could use in benchmarking their progress. It is out of this reason the country ended in holding its slaves despite their enormous attempt of championing for freedom.
The US required having high exportation and little importation as a way of stimulating positive economic progress. In accomplishing this, it had to resist allowing the slaves move back to their nations and went to an extent of limiting them citizenship in the country making them continue living as refugees and with limited freedom. Declining from being the largest world’s importer was the greatest fear the nation had and also wanted holding the slaves in case another war emerged to use them in fighting. Through sending large numbers of Africans to the war, it protected its people from death making the nation still remain strong in its military force.
Conclusion
From the above analysis on the historical slavery in the US, we result in knowing that the nation benefited significantly towards establishing strong economic progress.
It was an aspect that stimulated the nation to grow positively thus making attainment of its economy grew from the supply of free labor with intense flexibility. Despite the efforts of the Africans to free from the slavery, it has changed its form resulting in emergence of neocolonialism. The US uses advanced tactic to still benefit from Africans like giving them funds and come to become the key investor in
the initiated projects.
