School plays a very significant part of our lives, the transition from high school graduation to now becoming a college freshmen has taught me a lot not mentioning the changes I had to keep up with. These sundry worlds which almost everyone went through has different story. No doubt, the elevation one sees in college is really a good thing since most of them touches on real life issues unlike high school where nothing was that serious at least compared to being in college lecture room. First of all, high school happen to be the initial stage in learning as it equips the students with proper familiarity to be utilized later at college. The topics being covered in high school is just the common basics in math’s, social science, English and Filipino perhaps. You would find students relaxed si
...nce there no much deadlines and revisions to make of course what you gained in class can be amassed at the end of the term and still maintain average performance. In comparison with the college where maturity is called for, high school demands for procedures and follow up to accomplish the life there.
On the other hand, college is completely all different story in terms of subjects which are more specific and demands thorough research with no limit of the internet and library sources. Remember here a chosen career would be already in place and working towards such targets and objectives has to be considered in regards to dedication. Unlike high school where we were secluded in just one single room and ultimately this would mean not much freedom. As we approach college the old we become an
that would mean one thing; demand for maturity at all times. Similarly, the workload keeps on bulging and complex and the goodness of it is that this is very well related to individuals chosen path of career. Life is very flexible in college, having to choose preferred schedule and this will mean independence hence making college freshmen feel kind of outgoing in all the perspectives possible. Again, the mammoth number of students in the school facility brings a lot of diversity as every culture, backgrounds and religion are all catered for the sole purpose of achieving the best in their chosen career path.
People might only see the bigger picture of idiosyncratic difference but there are quite a number of similarities in the two phases of school life. Most people retain friend’s right from high school since those are the first people to closely know and interacting would lead to deep friendliness. Who even forgets cramming as the studying habits which we carry along, not forgetting copying another classmate task which is still evident to date don’t you think. Even though college life is a bit complex compared to high school, still the freedom, excitement and enjoyment is something to look forward to. Life in high school might not be what all of us thought to be especially when you are about to graduate but then on reaching college you find there even more to enjoy and learn. To have such magnitude of freedom to a college student is very fun especially if you are the one who has to choose what to do at what time and with who. However, proper judgment should be made
at the best since we are all mature as per now and we have future and reputation s to protect.
