One the Hippocratic Oath they take,” I swear by Apollo the physician, by Aesculapius, and Health, and All-heal, and all the gods and goddesses, that, according to my ability and my judgment, I will keep this Oath and this stipulation — to reckon him who taught me this Art equally dear to me as my parents, to share my substance with him, and relieve his necessities if required; I will give no deadly medicine to any one if asked, nor suggest any such counsel; and in like manner”(Kaiser papers)

be heal or cure what’s the difference between men with a gun on the streets killing someone that he thinks doesn’t deserve to live anymore. Euthanasia should not be legalize because we live in a society were there are terminally ill people with cancer HIV and also AIDS.

As long as there is treatment and pain medicine and also hospice care to make patients comfortable with there illnesses, doctors should have no right to take someone’s life into there own hands and make a decision whether or not they should give them an over dose of morphine to end their life because there is nothing more they can do for them. God lets them suffer; and when he feels the time is right to take them, then they shall go.

If every doctor practices euthanasia, it won’t be very easy to care whole heartedly for patients when it is always possible to think of killing them because they are going down hill and there is no help for them. As America try to legalize euthanasia it has made no sense in trying to get a will because the oath every doctor takes is a waste of time, killing some one that is ill is not the answer to solving a problem. What about the patients that can’t respond those that are unconscious or in a vegetative state of mind, they absolutely have no say with regards with their welfare.

How things work in these days and ages; if someone is conscious or even a single family member, can make that choice if they become ill later on in life. They can indicate whether or not they want to be DNR or DNI. Some people choose to live in a vegetative state and mostly have chosen an event that something fatal should be happening and that they just want to die and do not want to be resuscitated. However sympathetically some patients do makes such request, but it’s not up to the doctors to follow through with the request of a dying person.

If such acts continually happen it should be considered as murder in the first degree, for the fact that is was premeditated and followed through. There is no difference with a doctor killing a patient or someone else killing anyone else.

Giving a patient a lethal dose of morphine or penicillin because they are tired of treating a dying patient who is hard to cure and they think death is the best treatment for that person. That’s why they have hospice care, where people go to die, in hospice you make a person comfortable in their last stages; they get no medications you just make them comfortable.

If euthanasia is legalize their will be no need for hospice care because a patient would never make it to hospice because, any physician at time will consider death as the only option. Physician’s violation of legal and ethical conduct of active euthanasia touches medicine at its very moral center, and that, as pressure to legalize euthanasia in response to patient demand increases, the medical profession must repudiate direct and intentional killing of patients and discipline doctors who kill.
