Individuals with systolic pressure ranging from 120-139 mm Hg or diastolic pressure between 80-89 mm Hg are categorized as pre-hypertensive. In contrast, those demonstrating readings equal to or exceeding 140/90 mm Hg fall into the hypertensive category. The study is scheduled for a duration of one month. Throughout this four-week period, participants will receive guidance on how to use Calamansi to reduce their blood pressure levels. The effectiveness of this approach will be evaluated on a weekly basis.
Regular checks will be carried out with a blood pressure monitor or Sphygmomanometer each week. The main goal of this research is not to offer
treatment, but rather to decrease the chances of individuals in pre-hypertensive stages progressing to severe hypertension, and minimize potential secondary complications for those already dealing with hypertension.
