posters. leaflets, radio and film, and organized rallies.

He cultivated the support of ealthy businessmen promising them that, f he came to power, he would destroy Communism and the Trade unions. This gave him the finance to run his campaigns. In 1929, the Wall Street Crash, devastated America, and all countries within dealings. America called for its loans, therefore Germany was shattered. Unemployment rose to 6 million. In July of 1930 the chancellor of Germany; Br??ning, slashed the government expenditure, unemployment pay and wages. This was one of Germanys worst times.

However many people turned towards communism as the resolution to his, although this scared business men who then helped fund Hitler's campaign. Hitler had the perfect set, for the perfect show. He was In a situation where he was able to use other's weaknesses as his strengths. Hitler started with speeches that gave people scapegoats to blame for Germanys problems. Some of them being: 1 The Treaty Of Versailles 2. The Jews 4. The Communists He gave them hope for there problems, he promised to restore order to Germany, he promised revenge, strength, power and wellness to all.

In the public's eyes he was he answer to all their problems. Many Germans turned to Nazism because they were so desperate. The number of Nazi seats in the Reichstag had grown from 12 to 230 within 4 years. To Hitler the depression was a gift, as for every problem the public came across, the Nazis had a solution and a promise. "He was holding the masses, and me with them, under an hypnotic spell by the sheer force of his beliefs. His words were like a whip. When

he spoke of the disgrace of Germany, I felt ready to attack any enemy'. Karl Ludecke, an early follower of Hitler (1924).

Looking at this ource it showing the traits of Hitler. The extent he could persuade someone to. The impact it had upon the public. This was one of the core roots of Hitler's rise. By 1932 many of the political parties had thought about using Hitler's popularity in their own favour. However looking at this the President of Germany; Hindenburg, decided that he would make Hitler the chancellor of Germany, before others could use him for their own advantage. In 1933, when Hitler became Chancellor, he immediately set his mind upon making himself the absolute ruler of Germany.

Looking at all of this, is it definite that there was no one reason that Hitler rose to power, it was an amalgamation of several different reasons such as his great personal traits, the differences between already popular parties, the depression of 1929, the Nazi storm troopers attacking Hitler's opponents, Goebbels' propaganda campaign, Hitler becoming Chancellor, the Germans anger from the Treaty of Versailles, Industrialists support, and many more. All of this together helped painting the perfect picture for Hitler's rise to power.
