In my opinion, it is important for students to be allowed to have their cell phones and iPods with them at school. On Fridays during lunch, students are able to enhance the atmosphere by listening to music through USBs on their iPods. Additionally, in physical education classes on Tuesdays, specific music is played to energize and improve performance during running activities on the blacktop. Some teachers even incorporate music into lessons to create a calm environment or celebrate achievements. In my opinion, it is crucial for students to have their phones and iPods in school, particularly for music purposes. It is also important for them to have access to these devices after school in case of emergencies and for accessing internet resources and calculators. Ultimately, I firmly believe that students should be allowed to use their cell phones and iPods for music as it can positively impact mood. Therefore, I urge you not to confiscate our phones and pods for various reasons supported by evidence from the SIMS student body and personal experiences.
