Yes because it gives the smaller states more say in the election. Also the president has to go to every state. And the winner of the popular vote might not win the election. And it represents the country as a whole.

It helps because it shows what the majority of the country really wants not off some popular vote. Also, because of the electoral college it gives people in rural areas to hear the campaign of the candidates. This also helps the minorities vote.

In the long run yes. Because your vote will help choose if the state is democratic or republican. It is like the popular vote of the state.

Good because the candidates need the votes from smaller states just as much as the bigger states. No matter how small the state is if you win it, you get those electoral votes which will help you win. Even if you win CA, TX, NY, you still look to the smaller states.
