Furthermore, Song and Kuaka (2009) emphasize the significance of utilizing previous data to achieve a competitive edge.

Furthermore, the system ensures the integrity of information by combining manual and automatic updates.

Problems that the business could encounter include data duplication, human input errors, and omissions of accounts. Performing database normalization can help reduce these issues, as it is a formal technique for evaluating and improving the quality of a relational database schema (Stringer, Jackson ; Burr, 2012). This normalization also adds professionalism and credibility. When thinking from the perspective of a customer, it is desirable to continue doing business with a store that appears knowledgeable and competent. Companies that can maintain the privacy and security of customer information without worrying about hacking or misuse by employees offer an extra level of comfort and security. Furthermore, with the rapid advancement of technology, companies are competing to simplify the purchasing and payment process for customers. Additional payment methods may include cash, check, electronic methods, Google Wallet, and reward points.

Increasing revenue can be achieved by selling items online, as this would attract more customers by offering convenience for online shopping. By exploring this opportunity, there is a potential for business expansion. The business can enhance its capabilities by generating payment notices, which helps in maintaining a professional environment while managing the essential aspects of running a business. Implementing a ranking system enables the company to track customers based on their frequency of visits, timely payments, or non-payments. This enables effective customer management. Additionally, organizing sale dates aligned with seasons and

holidays can promote special sales and savings programs.

It calculates the necessary quantity of an item for the company to meet supply and demand. The ability to shop online creates a new source of revenue for the business and allows promotion, sales, and reaching various demographics. It tracks purchases and synchronizes accounts payable, keeping the company's books updated with real-time information. This enables managers to always know the financial status of the business.

Categories of purchases and the corresponding method used would generate a list, indicating how customers have made their purchases. The system will then generate "pending list," "actual profit," or "in progress reports" based on the purchase method. The process of a customer ordering using an online catalog can be seen in Figure 1.0. Due to personal schedules, many people are unable to physically visit a store to shop.

Having an online system that can market and sell items is incredibly convenient for customers. It allows us to create unique sales and promotions specifically designed for our past and current customers. Additionally, we can generate special promotions for new, current, and potential future companies, which adds an extra level of luxury. By offering discounts for future transactions or for business referred to other potential customers, we can encourage customers to shop at our jewelry store at a later date. It is also important to provide multiple payment options for the convenience of our customers (see figure 3).
