    answer

    Peritrichous or Polytrichous Flagella:

Peritrichous is the prefered term over polytrichous. These are bacteria have flagella all over their cell surface. Remember, bacteria have flagella that are longer and thiner, not surrounded by a membrane, are made from flagellin proteins, and move in a rotary motion.

    question

    answer

    Amphitrichous Flagella:

These are bacteria have flagella at opposite ends. Remember, bacteria have flagella that are longer and thiner, not surrounded by a membrane, are made from flagellin proteins, and move in a rotary motion.
