The characters are inspired by The Beatles' songs, including Jude ("Hey Jude"), Max ("Maxwell Silver Hammer"), Lucy ("Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"), and Jojo ("Get Back"). References to The Beatles can be spotted throughout the movie, such as Sadie's record label named "Strawberry Jamz," which pays homage to their company Apple Corps.

While some musical scenes may have felt contrived, the film overall was an experience and both Beatles fans and casual viewers could appreciate it.
