question
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT TO DATE
answer
I'm proud of the fact that I graduted from college with a solid GPA while working full-time and raising my two young girls on my own. A lot of people would've quit or let their grades suffer. I believe the reason I got through it all was sheer determination; I never even let myself visualize anything but finishing on time and with good grades. Being a soldier has taught me that it is my duty to complete all assigned tasks to the fullest of my ablilites, whether it be dealing with my military responsiblities or in my civilian life.

Focus on what strengths you bring to the table. These should be consistent with the four things most employers are looking for in candidates during the job interview: competence, professionalism, enthusiasm, and likability.
question
TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF
answer
I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. Ever since I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to work in field of helping others. I always felt as though it was my passion because it brought so much joy to put a smile on others face. At first I thought that the best way to help others was to become a nurse. While in high school, I knew that I needed the resources to reach my goal so in my junior year, I decided that best way for me to financially reach them was to join the military. My intention was to stay in the military long enough until I graduated with my nursing degree. Needless to say, nursing was not my calling because I have a weak stomach for blood. While I was trying to figure out another career option I can take to help others, I realized that the answer was already in my face. During this time, I was on my first deployment and my first time actually working in my MOS full-time. Most of my job duties involved making sure that all the soldiers assigned to the unit were taken cared of as far as pay, travel, evaluations, personnel actions, etc. During this time, I noticed that when I made sure that the soldiers were taken cared of every month, they smiled more because it was one less headache that they had to deal with. After my deployment, I focused more on futhering my military career while completing my degree in Human Resources. From that point on, everything has been falling in place that has led me to this point in my career.

question
WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS
answer
"My strengths are interpersonal skills, and I can usually win people over to my point of view. Also, I have good judgment about people and an intuitive sense of their talents and their ability to contribute to a given problem. These skills seem to me directly related to the job. I notice that you require three years' work experience for this job. Although my resume shows I've only two years' experience, it doesn't show that I took two evening college courses related to my field and have been active in one of the professional societies. I also try to gain knowledge by reading the industry's trade journals. I'm certain that my combined knowledge and skill level is the equivalent of that of other people who do have three years' of work experience. I'm also currently enrolled in a time-management course; I can already see the effects of this course at work on my present job.""Absolutely. In fact, on my annual evaluations she writes that I'm the most dependable and flexible person on her staff. I think this is mostly because of my ability to juggle and prioritize.
