question
Dave Sanders
answer
William "Dave" Sanders was a computer and business teacher at Columbine for 25 years, and coach of the girls' basketball and softball teams. He left behind his wife (Linda), four children (Angela, Coni, Kathy, Linda Lou) and five grandchildren. His students said he was a teacher, a friend, a mentor and an inspiration. When the gunmen started firing outside the school he ran to the cafeteria and sounded the alarm. He, along with two of the school's janitors, helped get more than 100 students out of the path of danger by herding them away from the shooters. He saved untold numbers of lives that day. By the time the gunmen arrived, the cafeteria was nearly empty thanks to him. He was in the upstairs hall trying to get students safely hidden in classrooms when he was shot from behind by Eric Harris. He was hit in the torso, head and neck. He managed to get himself into a science lab where he bled to death waiting for help that 911 dispatchers told students who were helping him was coming, but never arrived. Despite their attempts to save him, Dave Sanders died nearly three hours later from blood loss. His last words were reported to be: "Tell my family I love them."

question
Patrick Ireland
answer
high school crush: Laura, was in the library on the 20th because he was up late talking to Laura and didn't finish his homework. He sat at one of the tables just above a bomb. He hid under a table with Makai, Dan, and a girl he didn't know. Corey and Austin went to investigate. He was shot in the head, several buckshot fragments lodged in his scull and scalp, one pellet burrowed six inches through spongy brain matter in the optical center. It cut through the connection between the left and right brain. Was known as 'The Boy in the Window' becasue he fell out of the window of the library at 2:38 trying to get himself to safety after struggling to get there for 3 long hours. He worked hard after the shooting to make sure he could still be valedictorian, but could no longer be an architect as he had dreamed. He attended Colorado State University, where he met his future wife, Kacie.
question
Dwayne Fuselier
answer
the first FBI agent on the scene, a veteran agent, a clinical psychologist, a terrorism expert, and one of the leading hostage negotiators in the country. He only went to Columbine because his son, Danny, attended school there. He would play the leading role in understanding the columbine killers- he got to look through the boys journals and study the boys and assess why they did it. He was responsible for most of the things known about the mental state of the killers and their motives for the attack.
question
Valeen Schnurr
answer
She was in the library when the shooters came into it. She was riddled with holes down her arms and torso (34 separate wounds) and after being shot by Dylan, dropped to her knees and said "Oh my God,oh my God, don't let me die". Dylan turned around and asked if she believed in God. She answered yes and he asked why. He got distracted and did not end up finishing the job. Many people thought Val was trying to piggy-back off of Cassie Bernall's story to gain fame although the truth is that Cassie was killed without being able to say a word. She was verbally attacked on many occasions because of her alleged lying and was particularly upset at the publishing of Misty Bernall's memoir.

2nd to die; Freshman who went to the commons to meet up with two buddies for a smoke (Lance Kirklin and Sean Graves). They saw the gunmen firing, but thought it was a game or a prank. He was shot by Eric in the left knee, chest (his heart stopped beating quickly), and abdomen. Danny was dead upon impact with the ground after being dropped by Lance because he blacked out. He had a big future ahead of him that included his dad's custom audio business (he was a natural). His father (Brian) and his mother (Sue) were in a friendly divorce, he had a stronger relationship with his father though. He laid on the sidewalk were he died for 28 hours because his body could be booby trapped and the authorities did not want to risk it.
question
Eric Harris
answer
During their Sophomore year at Columbine, he was arrested for breaking into a van but was released early due to how well he did in the juvenile diversion program he had to attend; That same year he was employed at Blackjack Pizza where he worked with Philip Duran and Dylan. Brooks Brown had previously reported Eric for threatening him after being told of it by Dylan. These things Eric gloated about in his personal journals and online. The Browns contacted the police and Eric's parents. Eric apologized and all seemed like it would be okay but then Eric went and posted Brooks' phone number on one of his online rants. One of Eric's aspirations was to join the Marines and he even took steps to apply, though his application was rejected shortly before the shooting, likely because he was taking the drug Luvox at the time, an SSRI antidepressant he was taking in connection with his anger management therapy. It is believed that he had stopped taking the drug shortly before the rampage. If so, this could have triggered an even more violent reaction; when he got bored of the Doom video game, he added his own characters and storyline; called REB; he was a full-blown psychopath; he wore a shirt with the words 'natural selection' on the day of the shooting; was extremely smart but didn't apply himself
