It also provides employment opportunities for those involved in travel agencies or other support services such as hospitality staffs or tour guides. Moreover, this sector contributes significantly to the economy by generating foreign exchange earnings from international tourists visiting different countries for leisure or business purposes. In addition to this financial contribution from travelers’ spending abroad; governments are also earning substantial tax revenues from travel-related businesses such as airlines or hotels located within their jurisdiction. On the social level; tourism promotes cultural understanding between different societies by exposing them to diverse cultures through encounters with locals during their travels abroad.
