What is Great Grandfather?

My great grandfather was an incredible man who I was lucky enough to have known. He was born in the early 1900s and lived a long, full life with many accomplishments. His name was Edward and he was an entrepreneur, a business owner, and an inventor.Edward started out as a young man starting his own business selling fruits and vegetables door-to-door. Throughout the years his business flourished and he eventually had multiple locations around the city selling many different products. He also invented several products that made him famous in the area such as vegetable slicers and fruit juicers. He also had a passion for education which led him to become a teacher later on in life at one of the local high schools where he taught math for nearly twenty years. Not only did he teach math but he also created several award winning math textbooks which were used by students all over the country for generations afterwards. One of his most unique traits however is that even though he made millions from his inventions, businesses, books etc., he never forgot about those around him who were less fortunate than himself which is why every year on Christmas day you would find Edward setting up tables outside of soup kitchens giving out food to those in need – something that my family still continues today because of him. My great grandfather’s legacy lives on through all of us today not just through our shared memories but through his incredible accomplishments as well. I am proud to be part of such an amazing family whose leader was someone so special like my great grandfather Edward.
