What is Gravity?

Gravity is the force that binds us to the Earth and keeps us from floating away into space. It is one of the fundamental forces of nature, and it is one of the most important forces in our everyday lives. Without gravity, we wouldn’t be able to stay on the ground or even move around. Gravity is caused by mass. All objects with mass exert a gravitational pull on all other objects with mass. Gravity affects everything around us, from our bodies to entire galaxies. On Earth, it causes objects to fall when dropped, keeps our feet firmly planted on the ground, and makes it possible for us to walk without floating away into space. In space, gravity forms galaxies by keeping stars bound together in clusters; it also causes planets like ours to form around stars like our Sun; and it can even bend light around massive objects such as black holes. In conclusion, gravity is an incredibly powerful force that shapes our universe in many ways – from keeping us grounded here on Earth to forming entire galaxies across spacetime.
