Apply the casualty’s field dressing.
Apply manual pressure and evaluate wound.
Apply a pressure dressing.
Apply a tourniquet.
Monitor the casualty for life threatening conditions.

Steps for splinting of a fracture
Prepare the casualty for splinting.
Get splinting materials.
Pad the splints.
Check for signs of blood circulation problems below the injury.
Apply the splint.
Check the splint for tightness.
Apply sling of applicable.
Apply swathes if applicable.
