Harriet took the slaves to Canada.

The secret network was an underground railroad that helped free slaves.

Harriet carried a gun at all times because if she gets into trouble she could use the guns as threats, but when she did point the gun she felt guilty.

He published a recored book called " The Underground Railroad."

Because he thought, "While I knew the danger of keeping strict records, and while I did not then dream that in my day slavery would be blotted out, or that the time would come when I could publish these records, it used to afford me great satisfaction to take them down, fresh from the lips of fugitives on the way to freedom, and to preserve them as they had given them."

Harriet felt safer because he supplied Harriet with money and sent her and her eleven fugitives on to Burlington, New Jersey.

Their motivation was that they should join together and help free slaves that wanted freedom?

This story really showed me how hard times were back then for colored people and how we should think about others and not about the little things that we go through.

Harriet risked her life to free slaves because she got visions and thought that it was her mission to save them.

Harriet found her way by the help of her visions and help from the North Star.
