Where do most first-year students live?
answer
All first-year students are required to live in the First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE) Program located in the Towers and upper and lower quads. First-year students are not eligible to live in the Terraces, Emerson Hall, Circle Apartments or Garden Apartments.

Can incoming, transfer students live in apartments?

Transfer students will be able to see apartment spaces in HomerConnect and are permitted to select housing in apartments

Can incoming, first-year students live in apartments?

Incoming first-year students are not permitted to live in apartments and will not be able to see spaces in apartments.

Can first-year students live off-campus?
answer
No. All first-year students are required to live on campus unless they meet criterion to be a commuter.

How do students select a meal plan?

1. Go to HomerConnect and log in with your user ID and Pin 2. Click on Student, Financial Aid, Residential Life & Health Services > Meal Plan Selection 3. Make your plan selection, submit and confirm your plan

Where can students use their meal plan?

Meal Plan swipes can be used in Terrace, Towers, & Campus Center Dining Halls, and at Grab and Go locations.

Can I request a roommate for orientation?
answer
You will be assigned an on-campus residence hall room during orientation. Rooms are randomly assigned prior to your arrival, and you can expect one or two roommates during your stay. Orientation residence halls are co-ed by floor (meaning that men and women are housed on different floors); each floor has a communal bathroom.

Are meals provided for family members during orientation?

Several meals will be provided for family members who are signed up for orientation. Please be aware that students and family members have separate dining schedules as specified in the orientation schedule you will receive at check-in.

I have special dietary needs. How do I let someone at orientation know?

Include specific requests on your online orientation reservation form, and let your orientation leader or the dining hall staff know about your specific needs.
