Healthy living reduces the cost of healthcare. Healthcare professionals who practice a healthy lifestyle can be positive role models for their patients and more credible as healthcare experts. For many healthcare professionals, health promotion is a part of their job description. The purpose of this event is to provide the Health Science student with an opportunity to learn healthy living concepts and apply their learning to a personal healthy lifestyle goal.
