Vengeance has been a part of human history since the dawn of time. It is an act that often involves exacting retribution for perceived wrongs, either real or imagined. The desire to seek revenge can be fueled by feelings such as anger, rage, hatred and humiliation. In some cases, vengeance may come in the form of legal action, while in other scenarios it can involve physical violence or even murder. No matter what form it takes though, one thing remains true ” acts of vengeance rarely result in any sort of satisfaction for those involved. No matter how justified someone feels their act of vengeance is, they are still knowingly committing a crime when they take matters into their own hands instead of seeking help from authorities who are able to hold accountable those responsible for wrongdoing according to established laws and regulations. This holds especially true when considering vigilante justice where citizens attempt to right perceived wrongs without government intervention or oversight ” this could lead to further issues like escalation and unintended consequences on a much larger scale than intended if done improperly or with malicious intent behind it. In addition to often being illegal, acts of vengeance also inherently lack empathy towards those they target; regardless if they were genuinely wronged in some way previously or not there is usually little thought given as to why someone might have acted out against them in the first place and whether underlying factors such as mental illness played a role at all which can make matters worse for both parties involved rather than better off after taking action against each other themselves outside the scope of law enforcement assistance. Acts of vengeance should only ever be considered when all other available options have been exhausted first because whatever justice is achieved through these means will never truly satisfy anyone involved nor will it bring about any real change within society itself regarding its policies regarding criminal justice reform efforts already underway today so that everyone can feel safe no matter who they are or what situation they find themselves in down the line moving forward together going forward into a brighter future ahead without fear looming over them anymore like before once was before now.
