They even do not see their parents a lot and spend time with them to know about values of a family . s parents don’t have time to spend with children, they get more to the virtual worlds like games, internet, and televisions and receive values which these sources give them and get far from real world and get more introvert. In other hand today children become independent earlier and tend to find their own sources of income, they will separate from families sooner and they will live with their girlfriend or boyfriend and don’t need to make a family and respect its valuesamilies got colder, they do not meet soon, they don’t have communications a lot, children don’t respect their parents and do not do their advises.

Families’ values like unity, and honesty got weak in today families. Not only values, also structure of families had changed. Today’s families are small, about 3 or 4 member. Addition to size, head of families had changed today men and women are equal, men and women both work and share their ideas for leading family and there is no head for family. Children are not to obey father if he is not correct.

Also, basic form of families got totally different . today we can see different form of families such as: single parent’s families, childless couples, couples with grown children and families headed by females, couples living together, unmarried couples, and single persons alone or living together for economic reasons, homosexual couples. Some reason for shaping these form of families are high range of divorce, less attitude to

marriage, and changing the society values. We had reviewed a today family characteristics, so now we look at 50 years ago families.

Father and his son are working at farm, at the same time mother and daughters are cleaning home and preparing lunch. Father and son back home so tired mother comes to them. Daughters go to father and hug him. Mother have light smile and all got to lunch desk and pray God for his gifts. They enjoy having lunch together they enjoy the noisy atmosphere children were happy of being with parents and grandparents. At the weekend all the family members containing uncles, aunts, and grandparents will get together and prepare for a picnic.

Children enjoy playing group games with parents and each other in a free, safe, and peaceful. Some nights all family collects in uncle or ante’s house and spends all night time for talking, joking and playing. In past families had unity, they were all in contact, all members obey the rules of family such as respecting elders, and families were happy and motive. Families in past were big, about 6-9 members, grandparents lived with other members of family under one roof. There was not different form of families.

Families had a head which was father and others were to obey his rules . father decides for family and decides for members of that for example daughters could not marry without father’s permission. Mother and daughters stayed at home and do home works. Grandparents played with children and take care of them. However, today families has the advantage of equality between men and women and there is

more freedom for children to shape their future, families in past were happier, more united, and more stabile and members respects values of a real family.
