In Allah's teachings, it is stated that "The Book has been given to you, it elucidates the truth of all things and acts as a guide, a blessing, and joyful news for those who submit to Allah" [Surah 16:89]. Historical records confirm that Prophet(PBUH) keenly supported this progressive attitude. To gain knowledge and incorporate technology related particularly to armored vehicles and mobile artillery known as Manjnek,Dababa,and Zaboor,the Prophet(PBUH) sent Sahaba on missions to Syria.
During this period, it should be noted that the state was not under the rule of Islamic law, hence there were no restrictions on acquiring technology from any suitable country. This aligns with a teaching in the Quran which states: "Amass your strength to the utmost against them". The Prophet (PBUH) regularly sought clarity from the Lord to understand the essence of all things, a sentiment reinforced in various Quranic verses. For instance, the Quran asserts the palpable facet of reality as seen in the formation of the heavens and earth, the shift between night and day, the boats journeying across the ocean serving humanity’s needs, and the life-giving rainfall sent by Allah, which revitalizes the formerly lifeless earth while distributing varied animals over it. The Quran emphasizes the importance of meticulous observation and investigation, as expressed in the phrase, "Then turn your eyes again and again"[Surah 67:4]. It also encourages utilizing "Analogy" for understanding related scenarios, which is encapsulated in the verse "So learn (through Analogy), o ye with eyes (to see)"[Surah 59: 2]. A certain level of mathematical knowledge is necessary for determining the direction of Kaba, computing inheritance, and Zakat.
The Quran places great emphasis on economic responsibility, discouraging wastefulness and advocating for sensible consumption. This sentiment is demonstrated in the saying, "Consume and enjoy, but do not be excessive in waste" [Surrah 7:31]. The verse "Allah does not burden any person beyond their capacity" [Surah 2:286] instructs us to delegate tasks suitably based on the capabilities, both physical and mental, of the employees. Additionally, it guides us to load machines, systems, and even animals according to their relative specifications or abilities.
