Bond Paper

– thick and durable – uncoated – high quality – used for: letterheads, buisness forms

Onionskin Paper

– translucent (partially see through) -thin and light -relatively strong – uses: airmail, with carbon paper for making duplicates, reducing weight when large numbers of records are printed

Flimsy Paper

– very thin, low quality paper – much more opaque than onionskin papaer – uses: printing draft quality documents, bible pages

Carbon Paper

– is fairly thin – underneath is coated with dark waxy pigment – uses: making duplicates

Copy Paper

– white – fairly light – does not curl easily – suitable for use in copiers – used for: copying documents, laser printers, general purpose office use

No Carbon Required Paper

– also called (NCR) – used as alternative to carbon paper – multipart paper: bottom of sheets coated with dye, top of sheets coated with clay that reacts to the dye

– smooth – stiff – fairly inexpensive – not very thick – uses: post cards, greeting cards, buisness reply cards
