Just to let you know what your instructor thinks, I think the two technological advances that have the most impact are immunizations—which have protected many in the world from infectious disease and many times an early death—and the completion of the Human Genome Project and the starting of gene therapy. I believe we will be able to save many people from untimely deaths with these tools.
