Building Healthy Communities has been of a great impact to the south of Los Angeles as many children who have been registered under the president Obama’s health care reform where they have been able to get better treatment without payments. In the project of expanding the building of healthy communities the mission will be to create the best environments in the schools by ensuring that the students eat healthy food and engage in the physical activities which will reduce obesity (Wolff, 2010). Through this mission the health and performance of the students will be improved. In the Building Healthy Communities several programs have been brought about which will contribute to the success in making this project nonprofit. One of the programs will be creating environment which makes healthy an easy choice for the students.

ll be to educate the students through the classrooms about the good health (Wolff, 2010). Sensitizing people about the importance of good health and being a member of this group through registration. The last program of Building Healthy Communities will be to improve the access to health beverages and food. After the implementation of these programs the expected goals will be that the schools will have access to the medical centers and get treatment. Another goal is there will be reducing cases for children and their families failing to get medical attention.

Last goal is that all the communities will support this project (Wolff, 2010). The outcomes of the goals are that there will be medical coverage to all students; the families will have an improved access to the health which supports healthy behaviors. There will be support in the health

youth development from the communities. BHC will serve the children in the schools and also their families.

The students will get referred to the BHC by the other health organizations. This team will be made up of ten members who will be responsible for carrying out the project. The organizational structure for this team will vertical structure whereby there will be the managing director, chief medical officer, assistant medical officers under different departments and their workers. The estimated yearly funding for BHC will be $90,000 per year.

This team expects to partner with the government for the continued support in ensuring it succeeds.
