Baraka in his poem clearly outlines and uses a nasty language that brings a lot of critics in his poetry but in the real sense the poem is rhetorically powerful in the manner in which it underlined the Black Arts Movement and the fight for liberation by the people during that time. It impacted the human rights and civil rights of the blacks during that time since he criticizes the manner in which the people of the white community are mistreating and discriminating the black people even in the art industry. Also, it rejuvenated the sense of self-reliance by the people of the black society and racial consciousness to all the people across the United States. It is for a fact that the poem is one of the literally articles that brought about the issue of liberation in the black art industry during that period. Baraka outlines various issues in which the blacks in the country have been sidelined making social alienation towards the whites since they had neglected the blacks even in the art industry and this brought fury and anger in the eyes and words of the poet. Therefore, during the BAM the poet acted as the signature of

the period creating a lot of impacts to the people of the black color in the United States.
