It is very possible for a search engine to return quite a number of results. If my search results for Hybrid cars returns 70,800,000 web sites in my results I will make use of correct strategies which will help me refine and significantly improve my results. Whereas Hybrid cars are key words, I will need to use Boolean Logic in order to get closer to what I expect from the search. Using words such as and, or, and not will assist me in refining my search. Alternatively, I can use Google advanced search which gives better and refined results. Every search tool is unique; meaning a keyword that gives good results on one may not give the same results in an alternative search engine. The simplest method of using a search tool is just to key in one or several key words in combination within the search box and h
...it the search button. In my case, the search engine will display a record of hits relating to the keywords (hybrid cars). As I scroll over the list, I will be able to discover that some results are closer to what I expected (www.bcps.org).
http://www.fda.gov/Food/IngredientsPackagingLabeling/FoodAdditivesIngredients/ucm232528.htm is a government website which can be appropriate source for a class research paper. The reasons which can be put forward is the fact that an official government website and the accompanying info is deemed to be credible. All over world not only in the US, all government publications are recognized as factual because the information found in such publications or websites are meant to be relied for by citizens for either safety or other useful purposes. With respect to the above
(FDA) website, it is quite an important source of information both for academic purposes or individual knowledge. The information contained in the website deals with what the public or an academician needs to know regarding what the US government is doing to protect its citizens from harmful chemicals which are mostly found in majority of carbonated Soft drinks.
Student work with highlighted mistakes
In the Hawaiian tradition Captain Cook strongly influenced many breakdowns including tattooing (paraphrasing). “Hawaiian tattooing was called “kakau,” and Hawaiians considered it important for aesthetic, health and religious reasons (Pacific Islanders in Communication)” ( quotation). The patterns were taken from nature ( paraphrasing) and the designs were applied by specially trained kahuna, experts in one or more critical task, who applied pigment to the skin with a needle made from bone, tied to a stick and struck by a mallet(Plagiarism). The tattooing was held in secret and tools were often destroyed and by the nineteenth century this practice began to disappear (paraphrasing). “Kakau was discourages (Misspelling) and suppressed (Plagiarism).”
How to fix mistakes
I will try and make the paraphrasing more creative as opposed to making them look like they are copy and paste from the original article as it appears in the student work. The quotations must be in Opening and closing brackets. There are two instances of plagiarism as indicated above. There is also one instance of a misspelled word. The referencing should have a publication year according to APA requirements.
