To the college administration, I admit that my grades have suffered as result of my absences in class. I do not mean to justify my uncouth behavior of failing to attend classes well along with my poor grades; I just wish to elaborate on the circumstances. I was aware that maintaining my scholarship would require a lot especially on my effort to better my grades. However, my mother got unwell and being the first born and watching her struggle really got the best of me. I had to assist her while she was at home in addition to being responsible for the house chores. I was worried of her health and I got distracted with her health such that I failed to concentrate with my class work. I now understand that I should have explained to my
...professor instead of avoiding him or even fail to report to school. I really thought I could handle the situation and did my best but I was overwhelmed and I was wrong.
I adore _____ College and it would mean a lot to me to graduate from the school which would be a privilege for me as the first individual in the family to attain it. If I am reinstituted, I will concentrate on my class work as well as be a good time manager. I have talked with my parents and will abide by their advice on improving my communication with my professor from now henceforth.
Kindly understand that my absence in addition to my poor grades which resulted to my dismissal does not mean that I am a bad learner. Frankly, I am an excellent student who only
