According to Espinoza et al., (2017), a call-in biblical meaning can be defined as the truth that God calls human beings to follow Him. It entails dedicating one's life to serving God by spreading His gospel globally and obeying His teachings. In my role as a manager, I have been called to incorporate leadership core values such as humility, transparency, and constructive feedback in leading the individuals in my workplace.
The core leadership values, which are the guiding measures in my daily life, require me to demonstrate transparency and commit to avoiding corruption. Additionally, I possess the willingness to listen to others' problems and offer potential solutions. By doing so, I serve as a role model for those I lead. Ethical principles of accountability and responsibility refer to the notion that individuals and groups have moral obligations and duties towards the people they serve in their workpl

The leader's roles and duties involve making responsible decisions and performing associated functions. Therefore, leaders or managers should take full responsibility and work hard to set an example for others. Moral responsibility is believed to originate from the decision maker's ability to reason appropriately (Kleinhans, 2016). Anyone called by God to serve in a profession should do so wholeheartedly, as authority comes from God. Consequently, they should demonstrate perseverance in their work, even in unfriendly or pressurized environments.
Throughout my time as a manager, I have gained knowledge about various leadership values in the workplace, including sacrifice, Christian commitment, intentionality, and perseverance. Commitment in the workplace is essential for leaders as it helps convey a positive image to those being led. Viewing work through the lens of vocation and Christian lif
is helpful as it recognizes work as a response to God's grace. However, according to Westermeyer (2018), it's important to be cautious as imbuing human work with religious meaning can lead to divinization of the work itself. For example, workaholism can occur when work becomes an end in itself. As a leader, honesty is crucial in gaining trust from others in the workplace.
This could potentially serve as a source of inspiration for the individuals I am leading, thus elevating the reputation of the workplace.
