The next event leads Rocco to a major injury on his leg from a wildcat. This expanded the hate between Rocco and Jakob because Rocco knew that Jakob could of killed the wildcat earlier. After his wounds had been treated, Rocco consults Ayoshe in her cave and finds out that she is somehow connect with his missing uncle, Alex Makepeace. Over the following days, Rocco learns of how the people came to Anshur and how they met Ayoshe who taught them everything. Rocco then asks Petur to move to another cave. He didn’t mention to petur that he did not want to marry Ilsabeth.

After Petur had agreed Rocco was confronted by Ilsabeth which led them to an argument, separating each other apart. Later that night when, the argument had finished their argument, Rocco apologized and they became closer once again. The day of the celebration for Rocco’s irrigation system had arrived. Rocco had gone hunting with Narvik for the feast. Only catching a goat, they pair had seen Jakob also hunting. Rocco had decided to play a joke on Jakob after he had killed a deer. Once he had achieved this, Rocco was almost killed by Jakob for mocking him, which was stopped by Narvik.

Setting their differences aside, Rocco and Jakob made peace between them. The ceremony consisted of the dance of life following with a feast. During the feast a child very close to Rocco dies caused by

a spider bite. A funeral is held the day after and Rocco is asked to light the fire of the corpse. Rocco is the last to leave the funeral and Sleeps in Ayoshes cave for the night. He awkaes and the nightmares he has been experiencing have turned into reality, but he alters what happens and saves his own life. The winter has passed and Rocco has come to love Ilsabeth and wishes to marry her.

At the end of a hunt Rocco and Ilsabeth go to greet traders which stay the night. The traders dinner is brought to them by Rocco and he finds a sick child in one of the carts. He asks if she carries the plague and the traders sadly confirm. The following day Rocco chooses to guide them out of the valley after trading. He farewells the villagers and promises to return within a few days. As Rocco crosses the bridge to start his journey Ayoshe him and speaks to him, Suddenly Rocco realises that the valley of Anshur is not situated in the past but in the future and he is then teleported back to the present.

A few years have passed since Rocco was teleported back and has gained letters from his dead grandmother’s belongings. One letter was sent from his lost uncle who had lived in Russia ever since he went missing. Rocco reads the letter out to his family and shockingly finds out that Alex Makepeace has an infant daughter by the name of Ayoshe. While in Anshur Ayoshe had told Rocco of how small deed can have outsized results, so Rocco decides to

write to his Uncle Alex and his cousin in which changes the whole future of the planet Earth.
