The majors available are: Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political science, Psychology, Art, Biology, Drama, Economics, History, and Literature.
question
The Sims 2: Nightlife
answer
Sims can now ask someone that they are interested in on a date and if the person accepts then a meter will appear and the player needs to build it up unless you want a bad date (which can be done by getting caught cheating or by cheating using boolprop testingcheatsenabled true — shift-click on a Sim and click on set score). The date can have a score from Dream Date to Horrible. This works off of each Sims wants so fulfilling wants of both daters causes the meter to climb higher. The more fears fulfilled the lower the meter. At the end, depending on how high the date meter is, the player's Sim may get a gift the next day of a bouquet of flowers or a note. If the date went horribly then they'll get a stinky letter or a flaming bag of poo, but then there's that small possibility where you don't get anything at all. During the dating mini game, Mrs. CrumpleBottom is considered an obstacle for Sims. When Sims perform romantic interactions or WooHoo with Mrs. CrumpleBottom nearby, she will smack the Sims with her purse, lowering the date meter.
question
The Sims 2: Seasons
answer
Seasons are now part of gameplay. There are 4 seasons; Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring, which normally occur in that order. However, which seasons will occur, and what order they will occur in, can be set individually for each neighborhood and sub-neighborhood with the Season Chooser. The Season Chooser can be accessed by clicking the "flower" button in the bar at the top of the neighborhood view. Each season has its own unique benefits and characteristics, nourishing the gameplay and storyline. Weather adds more realism, as precipitation may occur unpredictably, making every day different. Sims can check the weather forecast by using the TV or newspaper. When the weather is too cold, Sims may wear a new type of clothing, Outerwear. There are two kinds of temperature; Sims' internal temperature and outdoor temperature. The outdoor temperature is affected by the season and the weather, and affects how fast a Sim's internal temperature will change when they are outdoors. Unlike outdoor temperature, Sim internal temperature is different for each Sim, and can be affected by what the Sim is doing and wearing. Sims who are too cold can freeze, Sims who are too hot can get sunburned, and can even have heatstroke.
