1: On-Duty DoD civilians and military class A mishaps, or Hospitalization of 3+ notify COMNAVSAFECEN and Chain of Command within 8 hours. Marine Corps personnel inform Commandant of the Marine Corps Safety Division (CMC(SD)) 2: DON On-duty civilian deaths in U.S. & territories, report to OSHA within 8 hours with; Command name, Location, Time/Date, # of deaths/hospitalizations, POC, and Circumstances 3: Navy and Marine Corps ordinance related Class A explosive mishaps, notify COMNAVSAFECEN within 8 hours, they will report navy mishaps to CNO&NOSSA and Marine mishaps to MARCORSYSCOM& CMC(SD) 3a:Conventional Ordinance Deficiency Reporting (CODR) are submitted using DRWEB.

Heat Exhaustion

Caused by working or exercising in hot spaces, disrupts blood flow to the brain, heart, and lungs. Symptoms include: dizziness, weakness, headache, loss of appetite, and nausea. As well as victim appearing ashen gray, cold moist clammy skin, dilated pupils, weak pulse, and rapid/shallow breathing. Treatment: Loosen clothes, apply wet cloths/towels, move to a cool area, give solution of water and 1 tsp salt if concious.

Heat Stroke

Symptoms: Extremely high body temp, flushed, very dry, constricted pupils, deep and rapid breathing at first and then shallow and absent later. Treatment: immediately reduce body heat with cold water or wet cloths/towels, move to coolest place, maintain open airway, place on their back. Get to medical facility ASAP
