American colonies 1775 - 1783, no taxation without representation, local autonomy, Boston tea party, stamp act, Boston massacre.

French 1789 - 1815, increasing poverty, let them eat cake, filled with prostitutes and abandoned children, France already in debt thanks to the Austrian succession went into bankruptcy thanks to supporting the American revolution. 1/3 of Parisian work force without jobs. King declared the arresting of representatives. Directly influenced by enlightenment ideals.

1789 - 1814, gens de couleur, horrible treatment of over 500,000 slaves with little than 20,000 whites and maybe 60,000 gens de couleur. slave rebellion

Glory, God, and Gold. Through the usage of steal weapons by conquistadors and smallpox. Catholic monasteries and eventually universities, government buildings.

1501 - 1722. Controlled most of the middle east stretching into Turkey. the nation was of mixed ancestry and thanks to modernizing their military they were able to conquer faster. The revival of a Persian empire in-between the east and west. Control through religion Shi'a Islam. Architectural innovations and appreciated the arts.

1299 - 1922. Covered large areas of land controlling much of southeast Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. Multilingual and multicultural. Jews, Muslims, and Christians.

1500s - 1917. Covered land from Eastern Europe all the way to Alaska in the pacific. At first Islamic but eventually fell under Western Civilization practices thanks to Peter the Great. Once St.Petersburg was made Russia was viewed upon across the "civilized" world as a global power by The Europeans all the way to the Chinese in eastern Asia.

It began in 1440. The Atlantic Economy. Middle Passage. Indigo, Sugarcane, Cotton, and tobacco.

China was being crippled by events such as the opium war which was making a huge profit for the british. Japan was growing at an alarming rate and eventually became a world power. Southeastern islands were great for stoping to refuel massive ships.
