Spain is home to some of Europe’s most iconic cities like Madrid and Barcelona with their world-renowned architecture and art galleries galore. It also features spectacular landscapes like La Rioja wine country or Costa Brava beaches along the Mediterranean coast. The Caribbean is a paradise for sun worshippers with endless miles of pristine beaches fringed by sparkling aquamarine waters. Jamaica offers visitors all sorts of activities from relaxing beach days to exploring waterfalls hidden deep within lush jungles while Cuba provides a glimpse into colonial Spanish life with its cobblestone streets lined by beautiful colonial mansions. Finally no discussion about Spanish speaking countries would be complete without mentioning cuisine. Mexican food has become one of the most popular cuisines worldwide thanks to dishes such as tacos al pastor or enchiladas verdes while Cuban cuisine boasts succulent dishes like ropa vieja made from shredded beef cooked in tomato sauce. From spicy Peruvian ceviche to Argentinian steak washed down with a glass of Malbec there’s something for everyone when it comes to food from Spanish speaking countries.
