includes facial expressions, head movements, hand and arm gestures, physical space, touching, eye contact, and physical postures; aka paralanguage

grammatically correct, simple, and easy-to-understand language

includes tone, volume, pitch, speed and rhythm

The sense of identification that a cultural group collectively has, largely based on the group's common heritage
