28th president (1913-1921); known for World War I leadership; created Federal Reserve, Federal Trade Commission, Clayton Antitrust Act, progressive income tax, lower tariffs, women's suffrage (reluctantly)

The recall provided voters an option to demand a special election & to remove an elected official from office before his or her term has expired. Democracy is based upon knowledge. It is important that people know about their government and the work of their government and the work of their public servants.
