The Article says that video games can be a good, because it is about cooperation, and showing up. People wish they had worked less hard, and wish they had done more stuff that had mattered, like having fun. Some very important lessons can be learned from playing video games.

Video Games are a world-wide activity, we can learn most basic skills from games, and we can discover more about others, and more about ourselves

Lots of systems that try to teach us lessons do not work as effectively as games do, which means that games may work as a good thing to the society. Games could help us find success in the world and start out our lives.

This Article says that video games could be harming the youth in the United States. It says that too much video games, especially violent ones, make us live by the game standards, and can contribute to violent behavior

"Researchers at Ohio State University found teenagers who spent long periods playing violent games such as Grand Theft Auto felt exempt from ethical standards the rest of us live by and showed less self-restraint."

"There are concerns among neuroscientists that this dopamine being produced every single day for many years, through, for example, playing computer games, may change the reward circuitry in a child's brain and make them more dependent on screen media."

People sometimes blame mass shootings on violent games, because they say they taught the people how to do things. Researchers are saying that video games don't do this, they instead have a positive impact.

If you play a game for maybe and hour or two, it may not be too bad, but if you are playing for maybe eight hours a day, there is a problem. If you play a game to excess, then you start to get addicted, and you won't want to stop.

Jane McGonigal says that by doing something you like to do, you increase your life by a few minutes a day, and you can spend those minutes doing more things you like, increasing your life by even more, she says that it is important to do what you want to do in your life.

People say sometimes after playing video games that they are "closer with friends", spend "more time with their family" and that they have a more fun life overall

The Sales for the next generation video gaming consoles have dropped which may indicate a loss of interest in games, or it may show that the games are becoming less interesting and people don't want to play them anymore

"Everyone misses this, and it's easy to see why, since you have to scour the fine print to find it. The Wii system has almost been kicked out the role of being a big console, as Microsoft and Sony have taken over the big positions of being the main consoles. Wii has many graphic restrictions and doesn't meet requirements to run the more popular games

There may have been a recall on either product or an error in production. This could make a huge impact on what the statistics mean. We just have to speculate on what the results could be.

Games can be very beneficial to life, because they can improve life satisfaction, and improve bonds with family and friends. Cooperative games are the best, because they require two or more people to work together.

Still, don't let your kids play games all day long. "Results from the current study also showed that children who spend more than half their daily free time [playing video games] showed more negative adjustment.

"As long as the kids play three or less hours a day things are fine. But go over three hours and things change. "Compared with non-players, these players reported higher levels of both externalizing and internalizing problems and lower levels of prosocial behavior and life satisfaction."

Playing games as a family can help improve relationships and bonds. Many positive things have happened as a result of family gaming, and allows people to be more open.

Playing games can improve basic skills and social skills, especially when played with multiple people, because you are cooperating and going out of your zone and along with other people
