Symbolism in literature is the concealed significance in a piece of work. It is used to stand for moral and/ or spiritual values and beliefs. As clip goes on in the universe. society and what makes up society alterations. In today’s sense. pride is based on the individuality that 1 has developed. The diverseness in today’s society allows for many different beliefs and societal constructs. The world of alteration is seen in the book. The Scarlet Letter. written by Nathaniel Hawthorn whereby as society alterations so to does the perceptual experience of all symbolism.
