Methods In practice exercise Location Interview 1. How and why was this location chosen for The Levels? “Proximity to the university and location, location, location. The fact that students need to not rely on any outside service to attend classes on a regular basis is the fundamental reason upon building The Level and Its location. Further more when looking to accommodate students the necessity of a car seems to be a prominent issue. The location of a multiple faceted restaurants and the Sun Trans, which will be used in the years moving forward, allows residents to access all locations in Tucson.

Relying on the Sun Trans for class In comparison to relying on It for pleasure Is another hidden Incentive upon our location. 2. How has the location of The Levels affected the outcome? ” We think It has affected Tucson positively, from the Instance that the number 1 reason students come to Tucson is to go to class but allowing over 500 students housing a block from campus allows for students to solely rely on their self no third parties needed. As well with our location the amenities with a rooftop pool, study room and gym allows for residents one domestic location to enjoy life. . Could there be a better location for The Levels? “No there could not be a better location. Plain and simple, there are multiple student housing locations off of campus and the demographic shifts back to campus. There is a reason other multi level student housing are being built such as The Hub The Cadence and District are all located around campus. 4. Has there been anything that was unexpected or expected? “There are new buildings being built which created a lot of noise with construction and has bothered a lot of residents. This was unexpected and we had no Idea The

Hub was being built right next door. Another unexpected thing was the amount of students who wanted parking, the garage can’t hold the amount of students who want to park. We didn’t anticipate the amount of students who wanted to park their cars here since we were relying on the location so that they wouldn’t need a car. ” 5. Do you think The Levels had an advantage by being the first built building a block apartment can one up us any year. We started the trend people are starting to emulate us indulge in new pathways which could benefit them or could not.

Only time will tell, but there s always The Hub that is being built next door and they are also putting a second Hub right next to the first one and us as well. ” (http://disconnectedness. Com/location/) This map is from The Levels website. This map shows how close The Levels is to the Sofa. This map shows each street around The Levels and the major areas it is close to. It is located right next to the campus and also University Blvd. Place is a key factor here since it is in walking distance of these major areas. It is a five-minute walk to university Blvd. D also the university. Each one of these numbers has a specific meaning. The website also provides the closest cafes, university buildings, restaurants, etc. This provides you with all the essential places you are in walking distance from. This also provides a link between social relations with university where many students go to restaurants, bars, and shopping. This street is also where the Sun Trans runs through. These new multi level buildings are new to the Sofa. They have been popping up recently in the last few years and continue to be constructed.

Other amuses like ASS have these buildings on their campus already and so do other schools. You can compare these to dorms but from my experience of living in both they are much different. These apartments are more luxuries and cater to students although they are public they are not only for students. These buildings are also the highest residential buildings in Tucson. Archives that look at the development of multi level residential buildings in an area could be used for this analysis. You could look how the location affected the use of cars and walking.

You could also look at the placement that was effected by these buildings after they were built. Reflection I interviewed Aaron ‘ere and Chris Lee who are leasing managers for The Levels. I decided to interview them because they sell these apartments based on location. The interview took place in The Levels office on Sunday at 1 p. M. This was a structured interview, I came into the interview with questions already mapped out. Interviewing was the best option to get these answers. I think it allows for more information to be brought to the table and more ideas to be tossed around.
