Periodic Table

the first 92 are naturally occurring

Element:
a substance that cannot be broken into any other substance by ordinary chemical means.
Atom:
The smallest particle into which a substance can be divided and still retain its chemical properties
Molecule:
A group of atomy bonded together by energy
protons-
carry a + (positive) charge and are located in the nucleus
electrons-
carry a – (negative) charge and are located in shells outside the nucleus
neutrons-
carry no charge and are located in the nucleus

chemical symbol
