1) ZOCOR: helps to lower high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. ZOCOR belongs to a group of medicines known as HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors. It works by reducing the amount of cholesterol made by the liver. In terms of good and bad cholesterol, in most patients, ZOCOR reduces the bad cholesterol and can actually raise the good cholesterol.

Its empirical formula is C17H19N3O3S, with a molecular weight of 345.42.
