Wisdom books
7 books that are a collection of hymns, poems, proverbs, and stories. They use imaginative language to make their points.

Prophetic books
18 books that talk about people who speak God’s word. You will find comfort and promises and will be challenged to act with justice and mercy.

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronnomy

Letters or Epistles
These books were written by St. Paul, his followers, and other disciples and are actual letters that describe the new Christian faith, give advice and words of hope.

Revelation
Last book of the New Testament that is a collection of mystical visions written to encourage the early Christians who were being persecuted.
